The highest three classifications, Master Bowman, Grand Master Bowman and Elite Master Bowman, can only be achieved with scores achieved at<strong> record status competitions<\/strong>. Once you achieve a classification you cannot go back and claim a lower one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003300;\">You can hold different classifications for different bow types, but you can only hold your classification for the calendar year in which you shot your qualifying scores. During the winter season Friday and Sunday afternoons are to be designated as Club Target Days. This does not change the sessions for anyone not wishing to do a classification score. This is the advanced notice required for a Club Target Day.<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Scoring<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You need at least <strong>3 people scoring<\/strong> for a Bowmen classification .<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You must <strong>NOT<\/strong> write down your own score. This covers the rule about multiple people taking part <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">and it being competitive. Any award that you go for must never be scored by you, the archer, going f<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">or the award.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 17px;\">You need to follow competition rules on starting and progressing through the scoring.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These are as follows:<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&gt;<\/strong> You can only have <strong>six sighter arrows<\/strong> before you start scoring and only at the longest <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">distance. <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">You can not shoot several ends until you are scoring well and then start to score<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&gt;<\/strong> You must continue to shoot all ends of the round without taking a break or not scoring a <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">poor end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&gt;<\/strong> As above, you must not score your own arrows and <strong>you must get the score sheet signed by <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>the scorer<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&gt; <span style=\"color: #008000;\">The target distance must be accurate.<\/span><\/strong> It is not good enough to sight the position from one <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">measuring line in the centre of the range, you need to check the distance with the <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">measuring tape kept in the competition cupboard and measure from your position on the <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">shooting line.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&gt;<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>You can\u2019t stop shooting a round and then complete the score at another session<\/strong><\/span>, if you <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">can\u2019t complete a score you must start from the beginning again at the next session.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.20.2&#8243;
